Washington Superior Court: use KC Script for the case file
Search and view supported records
King County describes KC Script as the Superior Court records portal for searching, viewing and ordering records. Adult criminal records filed from November 1, 2004 forward can be available for online viewing, subject to access restrictions.
Older or restricted records
Not every Superior Court record is displayed online. Sealed/confidential material and other restricted records follow access rules; records that are not viewable can still require an order or in-person request.
Certification and consequential use
If a recipient requires an official copy, order the actual court record and request certification as needed. A portal summary should not be represented as a statewide criminal-history certificate.

Search by the identifier you have
The District Court resources describe searches by case number, party/name and other supported fields. Use an exact case number when available to reduce same-name ambiguity.

Read the case-level fields
District Court case access can show items such as hearing dates, judgment information, sentence conditions, warrant status and a document index. Those fields are useful for locating the case and deciding which document matters.

Get the document through the permitted route
Public document access is not identical to attorney, government or case-party access. If a public user cannot open a filing online, use the court’s public terminal or records-request channel instead of assuming the document does not exist.
Washington State Patrol answers a different criminal-history question
Court records and state criminal history are complementary, not substitutes
The Washington State Patrol criminal-history service is the statewide repository route. WSP describes publicly available criminal-history information as including convictions and certain recent arrests with dispositions pending, plus specified sex/kidnapping offender information. Its WATCH name/date-of-birth search is currently $11. A name-based repository response still should not be treated as conclusive identity proof when fingerprints are required.

Use the specific Superior or District Court record and request the filing/certification required.
Need a Washington repository history
Use WSP/WATCH for the statewide criminal-history product and describe its published scope.
Need a current court status
Use the court that owns the case. Repository history may lag or summarize court events differently.
Need an identity-conclusive repository check
Follow the fingerprint process required by the receiving program; do not overstate a name/DOB match.
